Background and Chapter Information
 

The Great Lakes Bay Payroll Professionals is a non-profit organization founded in August 2013 to support payroll professionals in the Great Lakes Bay Region in Michigan. We are an autonomous and independent chapter of the PayrollOrg (PAYO). We are a non-profit group, formed to advance the payroll profession in our area.

 

Membership is open to all who wish to focus on growing within their field, as well as becoming active in networking opportunities.

This Great Lakes Bay region in Michigan consists of members from four main counties of Bay, Isabella, Midland, and Saginaw. However we are the closet chapter to most areas north of Flint and Lansing and welcome anyone who wishes to join.

 
Our Purpose
 

An effective payroll professional saves a company money and reduces exposure to liability by processing the payroll accurately, efficiently, and timely. Payroll professionals keep abreast of technological and legislative trends that have a direct impact on the payroll function and, ultimately, the company. Our mission is to provide continuing education to payroll, finance, and human resource professionals.
